Smelling Cologne #2

It had been raining all night and when I opened the fourth floor window the air that rushed in was fresh with the sweet smell of ozone. It’s not the first time I’ve noticed that smell from this particular window, I don’t know what it is about the location but the scent is reassuring, hopeful, albeit brief.

Hmmm... the photo and description, I'm there. And it feels like it is warmer temp wise, in Cologne.

I like the way, when it rains in NYC, the ozone note is mixed with a little grit, soot, and dust at first, then gradually, if the rain continues, it gets cleaner & a little sweet. It has been raining in the dead of night here, so I miss it. It is warming here now.
